1. Who we are
Nestory is a bedtime stories app available for iOS and Android, developed and maintained by Bruno DAlmeida, based in Canada.
2. Data we collect
- Email and password (for account creation)
- Preferred language
- Reading history (stories read, paused, completed and abandoned)
- Subscription data (active plan, renewal date)
- Referral code (if used when subscribing)
- Anonymous usage data for internal metrics
3. How we use your data
- To authenticate your account and maintain your session
- To personalize your experience (language, history, favorites)
- To process payments and manage subscriptions
- To calculate referral program commissions
- To improve content and app experience
4. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We only share with:
- Supabase (database and authentication infrastructure) — supabase.com
- RevenueCat (subscription management) — revenuecat.com
- Apple App Store / Google Play (payment processing)
5. Children's data
Nestory is designed for use by parents and guardians reading with children. We do not collect personal data from children. Accounts are created by the adult guardian.
6. Data retention
Your data is kept while your account is active. Upon requesting account deletion, all your data is removed within 30 days.
7. Your rights
You have the right to: access your data, correct it, request deletion and portability. To exercise these rights, contact: support@nestory.kids
8. Security
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Passwords are securely hashed via Supabase Auth.
9. Changes to this policy
We will notify you by email of significant changes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
